Hephatha Lutheran School is a private Christian school that was established with a vision to minister and educate the young people in a new, booming community. The Early Childhood Education program was founded in 1977, and K-8th followed in 1983. Through the years, the school has grown and become an environment that the faculty members, church members, and attending families feel blessed to call home. Hephatha is fully-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and National Lutheran School Accreditation, and serves Early Childhood and K-8th.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Hephatha Lutheran School is, by the grace of God, to build up the family of Christ, to grow in faith, to assist families in discipling their children in a Christian Community, and to provide an enriched educational experience wherein all will find identity, purpose, and power for their lives in Christ by living in grace and in the knowledge of Him as their personal Lord and Savior.

The Pacific Southwest District (PSD), Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod is one of 35 districts that make up the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in the United States. The PSD serves schools in and congregations in Arizona, the southern half of California, and Clark County, Nevada. Nationally, there are over 180,000 children attending 1,854 Lutheran Schools, Preschool through High School. The Pacific Southwest District has 5 Early Childhood Centers, 42 Elementary Schools, and 9 High Schools!
