Hephatha’s COVID Policy

Isolation (If you have tested positive for COVID-19):
Everyone, regardless of vaccination status:
· Stay home for 5 days;
· If you have no symptoms, or your symptoms are resolving after 5 days, you can leave your house;
· Continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
If your child has a fever, keep them home until their fever resolves without the use of fever-reducing medication.
If your child tests negative after 5 days, he/she does not need to wear a mask.
If your child continues to test positive after 5 days, and you do not want he/she to wear a mask (indoors), he/she may return to school after 10 days.
Quarantine (If you are exposed to someone with COVID-19):
If Your Child Has Been Vaccinated:
· Get tested on day 5, if possible
· Stay home if you develop symptoms
If Your Child Is Unvaccinated:
· Stay home for 5 days. After that continue to wear a mask around others for 5 additional days.
· If you can’t quarantine, you must wear a mask for 10 days.
· Test on day 5 if possible.
