Matthew 19 Program
Matthew 19 Program
…Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kindgom of heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14
Hephatha has recently expanded its Mission with the addition of the Matthew 19 Program, which takes our unique blend of academics, faith and family to a whole new level. This individualized approach to education gives our Resource Team the ability to adjust student’s schedules in such a way that we can provide academic instruction at the students’ instructional level, provide instruction in social skills, and work on individual IEP goals. Students spend a few hours each day in a small environment to meet those goals, and are then mainstreamed into their classroom for the remainder of the day.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
Each student we serve is not only given the opportunity for a different pace and a different approach to learning, but the opportunity to learn with their peers, and strengthen their faith in a Christ-centered environment promoting spiritual growth. Further enrichment from Athletics and Fine Arts opportunities promote social-emotional growth. Students who have struggled in the past gain confidence as they see their progress, and parents are given a partner in their child’s education that might have felt absent before.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made… Psalm 139:14
